Yes, usually during the first three days, when the swelling begins to subside. Eye swelling varies from patient to patient. Some may appear quite natural by the 4th or 5th day. Others may reach this appearance by the 8th day or even after two weeks. Nevertheless, the first three days after surgery are when the eyelids are most swollen. The use of dark sunglasses can be helpful during this phase, as well as the application of cold compresses to reduce the swelling.
Local anesthesia: 6 to 12 hours.
